Community is the heart and soul of Earthfest

At the heart of Earthfest is a commitment to supporting the Camden Clean Air Initiative, a local non-profit action group dedicated to improving air quality in the Borough of Camden and beyond.

Earthfest is a powerful statement by the community, for the community. Developed in consultation with a steering committee of local residents, businesses and charitable organisations, the festival embodies the spirit of inclusivity and collective action.

Earthfest was also designed with the help of the next generation of eco-conscious citizens, through its Junior Ambassadors Committee. This group of 15 school-aged children from across London has helped shape a programme of educational, engaging and family-friendly events.

In our selection of partners, sponsors and exhibitors, Earthfest is proud to have chosen to feature start-ups and scale-ups that are true innovators in their fields. We have made the decision to put people first, created a not-for-profit event where change-makers, big or small, are given the spotlight they deserve. Georgina McGivern, Programme Director of Earthfest

Free for the public

With most activities free for the public, Earthfest endeavours to breaks down barriers and acknowledges that everyone should be a part of the conversation around sustainability and a greener tomorrow.

At King’s Cross, we work hard to bring a year-round programme of free or low-cost events to the neighbourhood, making the place as accessible as possible for our communities. We are delighted to be hosting Earthfest’s first official festival on all thing’s sustainability, which forms part of our ESG campaign to make King’s Cross a better place for people and planet. Chrissy Cullen, Place Marketing Director at King’s Cross

Earthfest is open to anyone interested in creating a sustainable future, whether that’s local residents, small business owners, or those who simply care about the planet.

What people have to say about Earthfest

Earthfest is a visionary celebration, offering a platform where the voices of the next generation are not only heard but empowered to shape the change they seek. It's not just an event; it's our community coming together to listen and act on their needs, creating a brighter, greener tomorrow. Jeffrey Young, Founder of Earthfest and co-Founder of the Camden Clean Air Initiative
We’re really excited that Camden Clean Air have the chance to amplify our mission across London through this amazing event. I am very proud of how our community has come together to support Earthfest, and we hope to raise awareness of the work we are doing at Camden Clean Air and the importance of clean air in our city. Georgina McGivern, co-Founder of the Camden Clean Air Initiative

About the Camden Clean Air Initiative

All proceeds from Earthfest will go towards funding the Camden Clean Air Initiative, a non-profit action group aiming to improve air quality across the Borough of Camden. By working closely with the entire community, including schools, businesses, and residents, as well as the local authority, we provide resources and support alongside our clean air projects. Our projects increase awareness and education around air pollution and aim to introduce policy and infrastructural change. Through Earthfest, we are hoping to fundraise to expand our impact throughout London and launch the London Clean Air Initiative.
